Just an update...Pickup soccer is still going on at the fields next to the Athens library every Monday and Thursday evening.
We have moved the start time back to 5:30PM to try and get more time as the days get shorter. All the same, whenever you can get there is fine.
Anyone looking to get in a good run is welcome. We have been having 20-30 players showing up each night. Players are middle schoolers, high schoolers, adults, and even a few of us in the "over 40" demographic. Experience levels range from newbies on up. So, whoever you are, you are welcome.
Once again, let me give a reminder to not park at the library lot, but take the dirt road at the end of Morris Avenue to the small parking area near the fields.

Its a simple story really…
Kindergarten. I had a crush on Grant Caudell. Enter the Mother’s Day Class Cookbook. Flipped immediately to the page featuring Granny Caudell’s Green Bean Bundles. Obviously Mom and I had to make them that very night because she is a kick-ass mom. 22 years later, we are still eating green bean bundles for every holiday meal (though we did consciously decide to drop dear old Granny Caudell from the name after her grandson broke my 7 year old heart).
